Entropik Archive
The material for the visual part of the AV performance Entropik Archive (30 min, 2019) by a Latvian duo Clausthome (Lauris Vorslavs, Ģirts Radziņš) and Mārtiņš Ratniks is based on a database of image and video samples collected during a longer period of time capturing various natural phenomena and living entities in different states of being. It is an imaginary journey from macro- to micro-scale with constantly changing vectors in the clear and obscure forms and energies. The sonic expression comes from the modulation and interference of radio frequencies and electricity. Entropik Archive – Studies of Disappearing Living Entities and Signal Disorder is a dialogue between constantly changing shapes and patterns of the visible and invisible energy inside us and surrounding us. It is exploration of the captivating energy of disorder and transformation.
