Ryoko Akama

Ryoko Akama is a sound artist, composer and performer who approaches situations that magnify silence – time and space. Her works employ small and fragile objects such as paper balloons or glass bottles that may produce tiny occurrences embodying the aesthetics of ​‘almost nothing’. She co-organises Ame Space, Mélange Edition and Mumei Publishing.
